What is a Kodi add-on? These are added features, not unlike tv channels, nested within the Repositories that enhance the Kodi Media Centre. Typically each add-on offers a wide range of content from live television to Movies, Documentaries and TV Programs past and present. You can even learn a language. Add-ons do not come bundled with the Kodi Media Centre. They must be added via a Repository (see my Repository page for a brief description including how to guides). Add-ons are created by the many developers within the Kodi community, most of whom do not earn a living, let alone any money from providing their services. It’s strictly volunteer. Some are created by members of Team Kodi, while others are created by what is often referred to as 3rd Party vendors. Some are legal, some are less so. New users should be aware of this before installing some of the Repositories and add-ons. These add-ons scrape content from various web sites which host the movie and television content you’re streaming. I don’t recommend you download movies, music or tv shows. As far as streaming content from some of these 3rd party vendors, let your own moral compass be your guide.
With all that is going on with the Kodi Repositories and 3rd party add-ons of late, it’s future has been brought into question. I for one am not concerned. When one repo goes down, five more seem to spring up virtually over night. Leave it to those crafty developers, they will not be censored. EXODUS is no exception here. Easily, the most popular add-on in the kodi community. With TVADDONS now defunct, everyone wants to know the fate of EXODUS. I’m here to repot, it’s alive and well. Brought to you by Lambda, this is a great add-on for the latest Movies and Television shows. Here’s how you install it
SafeHouse Movies comes courtesy of DandyMedia. It features lots of movie content and is another great alternative to Exodus or Specto. Add-ons such as PMovies, Yes Movies, Movie Vault , MoviePool, etc, are all set up and function in a similar manner, offering users more options for streaming movies. I point out Scene Peeper here as it seems to be a bit more comprehensive than the other aforementioned add-ons however, why not test them all and you be the judge? Users wishing to install this add-on will be required to install Mucky’s Repository first. Without further delay, CLICK HERE let’s get into this tutorial.
In The Movies comes courtesy of the Dandy Media Repository, and will be required if you wish to install this add-on. The URL Resolver works in the background for XBMC/Kodi. Developed and maintained by some of the best developers in the kodi community ( T0mmo, TKnorris, Lambda), this add-on works to decode host files often blocked by captcha’s. The add-on works through those files to find the next working file. I’m sure you’ve watched this happen when you’ve selected a stream and then watched the pop up window sort through a list of links like Openload, Gvideo, clicknupload, etc. Anyway, it’s not a bad idea to update this add-on and given the most recent events with TVAddons, this update will need to be done manually by downloading the file. Without further delay, here’s how to do just that. CLICK HERE

If buffering is ruining your Kodi experience, try installing the Easy Advanced Settings or EAS for short. With this add-on, users can manually adjust their cache size (the temporary data) so your Kodi media centre can process data faster. In this tutorial, I will show you how to manually adjust your Cache size to help minimize some of the buffering issues you may be experiencing. It will not eliminate the issue altogether however, it may serve to improve your Kodi experience.
For most Kodi devices, your video cache is set to 60MB by default. Kodi is not set up to detect the size/amount of space you have for cache and therefore limits it to a small amount. If you increase the amount of cache space available, your device will be able to download larger portions of video files at one time and help to minimize some buffering issues. It should be noted however, buffering can be caused by a number of issues such as your internet speed, the amount of traffic on your network, wifi connection vs ethernet and the number of people attempting to access the same files at any given time. This tutorial will not resolve all of you buffering issues, nor will it speed up your device. You should however, see significant improvements to your cache performance and video playback.
