Live Tv add-ons have become quite popular of late and with good reason. Many developers within the community have gone to great lengths to bring you some of the best live streams available (up to and including 4K!). Rather than lump them all under a general add-on heading, I thought it best to give the live tv add-ons a space of their own on my site. Going forward, I will use this page to provide you with the best live tv links I come across. Generally speaking, the links I post are tested and come from some of the most reliable developers within the Kodi community. Keep in mind, not all of the live tv links come from authorized sources and where applicable, I will let you know so that you can make the choice to install the add-on or not.
I was surfing the web, going through some of my favourite XBMC/Kodi resources when I came accross an atricle discussing the need to enable RTMP Input for anyone using Kodi Krypton v17. If like me, you’ve experienced issues live streaming on any of your devices with v17 Krypton installed, this next tutorial is for you. By default, the developers of Kodi v17 Krypton, have disabled this live streaming support protocol that is widely used by many of the live streaming resources. My guess, the developers of Kodi are doing their best to make streaming of 3rd party add-ons/Repositories with unauthorized copyright access more difficult for end users. The problem with that logic, this will also effect add-ons that are authorized by the copyright holders as well. Anyway, after enabling RTMP Input, I appeared to have more choices in streams and it ran a lot smoother. This tutorial will show you step-by-step, where to locate and how to enable RTMP Input. The f4mTester is proxy add-on that is required/used by many of the current live sports streams. As I understand it, this proxy add-on is a file extension called f4m and contains a lot of data outside of what kodi typically handles. These files contain xml code and extra meta data that helps Kodi play streams that might have different bitrates or varying video and audio tracks (remember, Kodi for the most part is just a really fancy media player). This is a behind the scenes add-on for you to install and forget. This add-on comes courtesy of Shani via KIG Repo. Without further delay, let’s install this add-on.
If you’re a Euro Football fan, there is no shortage of decent streams to watch pretty much every game available via Kodi. But what if you’re a fan of NBA, NFL and NHL? Where to go then?? I’ve been scouring the net, reading blog after blog, trying different add-ons at home and here is what I’ve come up with. Click the link to check out my suggestions for the best sports add-ons available in Kodi.
Nighthawk is a great add-on for streaming live television. This add-on features steams from the U.K, USA and Canada. The list is pretty deep, including channels such as;

AdryanList is an all-in-one add-on that comes courtesy of the Ares Wizard and will be required if you wish to install this add-on. While aimed primarily at our Spanish speaking audience (here’s looking at you Guatemala), the live list does include english speaking channels from the USA and around the world. This section is particularly useful for users wishing to stream live UFC, boxing, or any other premier live event. I have to admit, this add-on is rich with live television options, which is why I feel it’s worth you attention. Without further delay, CLICK HERE and let’s proceed with this tutorial.

Here’s another live tv resource for you called Genie TV. From what I’ve experienced so far, the content is primarily from the UK. This will be of great interest for those who follow Premier/Champions League and Euro football in general via Tommys Sports. However, if you want to go down the rabbit hole, select STREAMS and you will find access to live television, documentaries, music, movies, television, kids content and more. I would suggest NOT selecting G-Tv Live List as this portion of the add-on seems to require a user account. Anyway, I think this add-on is worth exploring.
