Live Tv add-ons have become quite popular of late and with good reason. Many developers within the community have gone to great lengths to bring you some of the best live streams available (up to and including 4K!). Rather than lump them all under a general add-on heading, I thought it best to give the live tv add-ons a space of their own on my site. Going forward, I will use this page to provide you with the best live tv links I come across. Generally speaking, the links I post are tested and come from some of the most reliable developers within the Kodi community. Keep in mind, not all of the live tv links come from authorized sources and where applicable, I will let you know so that you can make the choice to install the add-on or not.
I was surfing the web yesterday, going through some of my favourite XBMC/Kodi resources when I came accross an atricle by the people over at Fusion/TVAddons discussing the need to enable RTMP Input for anyone using Kodi Krypton v17. If like me, you’ve experienced issues live streaming on any of your devices with v17 Krypton installed, this next tutorial is for you. By default, the developers of Kodi v17 Krypton, have disabled this live streaming support protocol that is widely used by many of the live streaming resources. My guess, the developers of Kodi are doing their best to make streaming of 3rd party add-ons/Repositories with unauthorized copyright access more difficult for end users. The problem with that logic, this will also effect add-ons that are authorized by the copyright holders as well. Anyway, after enabling RTMP Input, I appeared to have more choices in streams and it ran a lot smoother. This tutorial will show you step-by-step, where to locate and how to enable RTMP Input.
